Jalisco Mexican Restaurant in Newburgh

Came in earlier today. food was good but service was bad our waiter , checked on us like twice and was very slow & acted like he couldn’t function in the process almost like if he was on something. We kept on asking other people to refill our drinks etc. Will not come back.

Always a great meal but since they added a bunch of seating i feel like they dont quite have the wait staff and parking to keep up. Anything on the menu ive had is good and i eat there pretty regularly.

Food is good and has large portions. Great atmosphere

The tamales were minimally at best.

Food is good. They don't have Pepsi products anymore. Will go back. If they had Mt Dew I would give them 5 stars!

I have been a faithful customer of this restaurant since it opened. However, I will not be returning. The portion size has decreased by at least 50% and 2 out of the last 3 times we have eaten there, there was plastic in our food! They do not even offer a discount on foreign bodies in your dinner! I've had it with these incompetent people!!!

The atmosphere here is relaxing, authentic, and the food is always amazing! Iv had over 35 menu items and every one has never disappointed, if you like real, authentic Mexican food with friendly staff, try this place!

Good place good food

We adore Jalisco! Every time we come we are greeted promptly and seated quickly. The owners are so friendly and they have passed that on to their staff! Jalisco is our comfort food and our date nights! Great for everyone and very family friendly!

Ordered two tbone steak dinners with mushrooms and onions didn't receive my fries and salad on one order no dressing for salad on the one we got. Gave three rice and refried beans. With 1 fijahita dinner .... My first time eating there was not impressed at all

My family really likes this place. We eat here quite often. I love their chicken enchiladas. My daughter chose this place to eat for her birthday and they came out sang her a song and smeared white icing all across her face and gave her a big sombrero to wear. She had a great time she loves it

The best Mexican food in Newburgh. Fast and friendly service.

I love this place! The atmosphere and environment are pleasant and mellow, especially if you go to lunch/dinner with good company. Service is always good, and the food is amazing!! My favorite thing to get is chimichangas: along with the traditional sauce, queso is drizzled all over them. Oh, and I like the $2.50 margarita deal on Tuesdays/Thursdays. (They are regularly $5.25., so it's worth it!) Overall, if you're looking for tasty Mexican cuisine and prompt service, consider Jalisco's. I doubt you'll regret you tried it.

It's staff is very friendly and If you want to, you're up for a nice chat with them, Like a relative you get to see at the family reunion and start catching up. The food is good and their coffee homely. My family will certainly be returning.

Pollo & Broccoli is my go to favorite. I order mine extra broccoli, no rice. I usually ask for a sliced avocado. You can't really go wrong with any choice. Their mushroom quesadilla is the absolute best.

Love this place

We were actually in the Enigma, next to Jalisco. I think the have the best grilled salmon in the area! The glaze is a tad spicy, but so good you want more!

Chips and salsa were above average. Salsa was nice and chunky. Ordered chicken quesadilla and it was decent. Ordered it with chicken and cheese only, but peppers were inside. Chicken chimichanga was really good. What bumped it up to 4 stars was that guacamole was included with the salad.

Amazing food and great margaritas, for Saturday lunch with the family I couldn't ask for anything more relaxing. The environment was great, and the servers are quite pleasant. Highly recommended!

Best Mexican food on this side of the border!! Best Mexican food period. It's consistently amazing Everytime. They have amazing deals through the week every week. The waiters and waitresses are kind as could be. That chips and salsa... I'm I could drink that sh#! Lol. #13 best thing in the world by far.. I get it Everytime !!

Wow, this place has gone downhill! Came in for dinner this evening. They were a little busy, but appropriately staffed. We were seated promptly, drink orders were received quickly, and then we were completely forgotten and sat, waiting, for twenty minutes before we finally got up and walked out. Groups that arrived after ours had placed orders and were receiving service, so I’m not sure what the problem was. I left a dollar on the table to cover the cost of the handful of chips and two drinks, which I think is more than fair after being completely ignored as a customer.

Shanna is an awesome bartender! Very attentive to her customers and gives great customer service. They have daily drink specials and half priced appetizers on certain days of the week.

I had heard good things about this restaurant but I was skeptical because most Mexican restaurant I've been to are exactly the same but this one really was exceptional. Service was great also. Just be aware that servers will not get their tips for 2 weeks if everyone pays by card. I always ask where the tips go and how long it takes them to get them. Try to pay cash if you can. I think I'm going to have to eat my leftovers now!!! So yummy!!!

Worst restaurant ever!!!! Poor management owner was rude when my food was in correct because of the server. Would not recommend never coming back! Food was 6/10
